CETA Students Win Awards

Curtis Ng, Electrical Engineering, and Joshua Rinker, Computer Engineering, both CETA juniors, were inducted into the University’s Iota Epsilon Chapter of ETA Kappa Nu, the national electrical and computer engineering honor society. To be eligible for election to the society, juniors must be in the top fourth of their class, demonstrate acceptable character and show marked ability.

Robin Kizirian, Computer Engineering, and Craig Dolder, Acoustics and Music, were named Regents Honor Award recipients this spring. The Regents Honors Awards are given to the seniors who are at the top of their school or college in GPA and active in both their school or college and the University.

Prasanna Nagarajan, who earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering in December 2007, was recognized for his achievements with a Graduate Regents Award. This award is the highest given by the University to graduate students, one in each school or college. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of at least 3.8 and show significant scholarship and community service.
